The second season of Baddies, officially titled Baddies DMV, aired on Koda TV from May 9, 2021, to August 29, 2021, and is filmed on a nightclub tour throughout the Washington metropolitan area, better known colloquially as the DMV (short for District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia).

The season focuses on new faces amongst the Baddies group as they take Capital Region by storm, featuring Candice Dana Booker, Bianca Mendoza, Mesean "Mint" Carroll, Adrian "Chilli" Gomez, Kylie Jennings, Kayla “Blaze" Morewood, Emily "Tink" Prince, Jenelle Shaneley, Calypso "Callie" Peri and Kameelah Zachariah. Trisha Painter from the previous season appears in a recurring capacity throughout the series, whilst Nicole "Nikki" Grimes and Dominique "Dom" Render appeared as guests.

The season consisted of 17 episodes, including a three-part reunion special hosted by Ariella and Laila Karr. This was the final season for Gomez, Mendoza, Jennings and Shaneley.

Production and crew[edit | edit source]

The second season featured ten baddies as they toured around the Greater Washington area of the US in a "decked-out" tour bus, with cameras capturing club performances and their luxurious vacations in mansions throughout various States. The majority of the cast from the previous season was replaced (sans Candice Dana Booker and Bianca Mendoza) due to ongoing conflicts following the Baddies Road Trip Reunion.

The second season saw the cast traveling through the Washington metropolitan area from executive producer Booker's hometown of D.C. to Arlington, Alexandria, Rockville, Annapolis, Ocean City and Baltimore. Amongst the luxurious homes, hottest clubs and wildest parties; the season gave an insight into Mid-Atlantic culture, as the women prove why they are the "baddest" girls of the DMV.

Cast[edit | edit source]

Koda TV confirmed the second season would air in May 2021, with Candice Dana Booker and Bianca Mendoza featured as the only returning cast members. Despite Nicole "Nikki" Grimes' expected return, she missed the bus without explanation during the season's first episode and appeared in a guest appearance in the following episode before being removed from the series altogether.

Casting[edit | edit source]

The official cast was announced as Booker and Mendoza alongside newcomers Mesean "Mint" Carroll, Adrian "Chilli" Gomez, Kylie Jennings, Kayla "Blaze" Morewood, Emily "Tink" Prince, Jenelle Shaneley, Kameelah Zachariah and Calypso "Callie" Peri. It was also announced that Nicole "Nikki" Grimes and Trisha Painter would appear throughout the season in recurring capacities.

Peri was added to the cast in the eighth episode, following Mendoza's departure from the series after heated verbal and phsyical altercations with Booker and Zachariah. Carroll was removed from the series during the twelfth episode following her arrest. Due to Peri's introduction later in the season, she is not featured in the show's opening credits, however, she is still acknowledged as a main cast member. Mendoza was also not featured in the cast photoshoot cover for the second season.
