The season consisted of 23 episodes, including a three-part reunion special hosted by Lance Melissa and Laila Karr.
Production and crew[edit | edit source]
The fifth season featured twenty-nine total baddies, the most in the show's history, as they toured around the Southwest of the United States in a "decked-out" tour bus, with cameras capturing club performances and their luxurious vacations in mansions throughout the region. Executive producer Candice Dana Booker invited Amber "Bunny" Banks, Latoya "Maylei" Carroll, Calypso "Callie" Peri, Jess & Tess Quinn, Susan "Suzi Sims" Simmons and Kameelah Zachariah to return. Kayla "Blaze" Morewood initially announced she would not be returning for the fifth season, following her recent health issues and surgery. Annika "Grace" Bergman was initially slated to return, however, sustained an infection related to a piercing, which required routine hospital visits. Both Bergman and Morewood were later placed on the "Injury Reserve" and were given the opportunity to return in the middle of the season when they are healed.
The fifth season saw the cast traveling throughout the Southwest, starting from Tucson to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Reno, Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, Boulder, Denver, Albuquerque, El Paso, Houston, Austin and Dallas. Amongst the luxurious living spaces, hottest clubs and wildest parties; the season gave an insight into Southwestern culture, as the women prove why they are the "baddest" girls of the Southwest.
