Baddies is an American reality television series that premiered on December 13, 2020, on Koda TV. It is a spiritual successor to the former KCTV series Bad Girls Club that aired from 2006 to 2017. Baddies was developed following an episode of The Conversation that aired on Koda TV in June 2020, which featured cast members from Bad Girls Club.

The show documents the interactions between several young women living together while hosting a series of promotional events, which often involve verbal and physical altercations. Many Baddies cast members were previously featured on Bad Girls Club, including executive producers Candice Dana Booker and Devany Adams.

Baddies has aired six seasons, which are uniquely named after where they were filmed. The first season Baddies Road Trip (2020–21) was filmed entirely in a large recreational vehicle and traveled throughout the Eastern United States. Subsequent seasons Baddies DMV (2021), Baddies New York (2022), and Baddies Atlantic (2023) were filmed during road trips through the respective regions of the United States. The fifth season, Baddies SXSW (2024) was filmed in the Southwestern United States.

On July 15, 2024, a sixth season was announced by Candice Dana Booker and Koda TV, titled Baddies SoCal to be filmed in Southern California. Alongside this announcement, a spin-off series titled Baddies Gone Wild was also revealed. Baddies Gone Wild will be a separate show featuring an entirely new cast of girls. On November 3, 2024, the cast for the sixth season was announced. Baddies SoCal is set to premiere on February 9, 2025.

Development[edit | edit source]

Talks for a potential reboot of the Bad Girls Club came about in early 2019 when Candice Dana Booker announced that a reunion special was in the works. The reunion initially included Booker, Trisha Painter from Season 3: Tampa, Bianca Mendoza from Season 6: Denver, Skylar "Skye" Munroe and Sara Torres from Season 7: Charlotte, Londyn Nolan from Season 9: Minneapolis, Noreen Orville from Season 10: St. Louis, and Nicole "Nikki" Grimes and Mona Rindley from Season 12: DC. The plan also included Devany Adams from Season 2: New York, despite production disputes with Booker.

The reunion was initially developed for release on the online platform OnlyFans, with uncensored material made available for a particular price. Nolan, Orville and Rindley eventually quit revealed that Booker was scamming fans, and were replaced by Holly Ackerman from Season 11: Phoenix, who later exited the project. In June 2020, Booker, Grimes, Mendoza, Munroe, Painter and Torres appeared together on an episode of The Conversation to confront their issues surrounding the OnlyFans project.

After the former Bad Girls were featured in The Conversation, it was announced that the Baddies series was picked up and in production. On October 31, 2020, Koda TV released a teaser trailer for Baddies Road Trip, which would reunite several former Bad Girls Club cast members.
